Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Federal-Provincial-Territorial Status of Women Meeting

The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, is attending the 30th Annual Federal-Provincial-Territorial Meeting of Ministers Responsible for the Status of Women today (Wednesday, May 2) and Thursday, May 3, at the Marriott Harbourfront Hotel in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Topics on this year’s agenda include violence against women, Aboriginal women’s issues, and women’s economic security including advancing women and girls in leadership roles.
