Media Advisory: Minister to Host Community Summit in Corner Brook

The Honourable Nick McGrath, Minister Responsible for the Volunteer and Non-Profit Sector, will host the 2012 Community Summit in Corner Brook from February 27 to 28.

The summit will bring together more than 80 individuals from across the province representing the volunteer and non-profit sector, the private sector and the Provincial Government, to review objectives and opportunities in order to identify common goals for the future.

Minister McGrath will provide opening remarks at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, February 27. The minister will then be available to the media immediately following his remarks.

Minister McGrath will also join Bluedrop Performance Learning for an announcement at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 27. Minister McGrath and Bluedrop President and CEO, Emad Rizkalla, will be available to the media immediately following the announcement.

Both events will take place in the Main Ballroom of the Greenwood Inn, 48 West Street, Corner Brook.
