Media Advisory: Premier to Open Corner Brook Winter Carnival

The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will attend ceremonies to open the 2012 Corner Brook Winter Carnival today (Friday, February 17).

After attending the flag raising ceremony at Corner Brook City Hall, at 6:15 p.m., the Premier will speak at the official opening ceremony at 7:00 p.m. at Margaret Bowater Park, O’Connell Drive, Corner Brook, where she will declare the Winter Carnival officially open.
