Media Advisory: Minister to Host Northern Development Ministers Forum

The Honourable Nick McGrath, Minister for Intergovernmental and Aboriginal Affairs and Minister Responsible for Labrador Affairs, is hosting the Northern Development Ministers Forum in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, February 6–8.

Minister McGrath will join federal, provincial and territorial ministers representing Canada’s northern jurisdictions to discuss priority initiatives that address distinct northern development opportunities and challenges. The theme of this year’s forum is Northern Directions: an Evaluation of Strategic Planning in Canada’s North.

Ministers will be available to media Wednesday, February 8 at 1:10 p.m. at the Canuck Club, 5 Wing Goose Bay.
