Media Advisory: Atlantic Canada Premiers Host Mission to the United States
The Council of Atlantic Premiers’ Trade Mission will take place in Atlanta, Georgia on February 6-8, 2012. Premier David Alward of New Brunswick, Premier Kathy Dunderdale of Newfoundland and Labrador, Premier Darrell Dexter of Nova Scotia, and Premier Robert Ghiz of Prince Edward Island will be accompanied by a delegation of over twenty Atlantic Canadian business leaders.
Support for this mission is provided through the Canada-Atlantic Provinces Agreement on International Business Development (IBDA), a federal/provincial agreement between the Government of Canada and the four provincial governments in Atlantic Canada designed to help Atlantic Canadian businesses enter, explore and succeed in international markets.
The Atlantic premiers will participate in speaking events and other social events, and have several scheduled opportunities to interact with media on-site.

Breakfast and Conversation with the Premiers of Atlantic Canada, hosted by the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the Metro Atlanta Chamber, 8:00 to 9:30 a.m., followed by media availability from 9:30 to 9:45 a.m. CenterSpace at Woodruff Arts Centre at 1280 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta.
Atlantic premiers will also be available to media from 11:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Georgia State Legislature, 206 Washington Street SW, Atlanta.
