Public Advisory: Water Advisory Lifted for South Brook

The Department of Environment and Conservation advises that the non-consumption water advisory, issued for the Town of South Brook on December 17, is now lifted.

The lab results of the various samples taken from the town’s water supply following the failure of the dam at the former Gullbridge mine site indicate that it has not been contaminated. Residents may now resume regular usage such as drinking the water, washing food, brushing teeth, or making juices, baby formulas and ice.

The test results are available at: www.gov.nl.ca/env/waterres/southbrook/index.html
