Media Advisory: Minister to Launch Second Annual MMSB Big Green Up
The Honourable Terry French, Minister of Environment and Conservation, will kick off the second annual Multi-Materials Stewardship Boards (MMSB) Big Green Up Monday, October 15, at 10:00 a.m. The Big Green Up is a one-day challenge, taking place on October 18, for Newfoundlanders and Labradorians to actively reduce their waste.
The event will take place 10:00 a.m. at Mount Pearl Intermediate School, 46 Ruth Avenue, Mount Pearl.
The Big Green Up, like the Recycle My Cell School Challenge announced today, is one of several events and activities hosted by MMSB during Waste Reduction Week, October 15 to 19.
