Media Advisory: Play and Learn Week to be Launched at Mount Pearl School

The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Education, and Steve Kent, MHA for Mount Pearl North, will join Kindergarten students and staff at Mary Queen of the World Elementary school in Mount Pearl 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 5, to launch Play and Learn Week in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Play and Learn Week, November 5-9, is designed to highlight how teachers incorporate play and learning in primary classrooms, while emphasizing how they can partner with parents and caregivers to support children’s learning and development through fun, creative activities at home and at school.
