Media Advisory: Minister to Address Industry Day Participants

The Honourable Joan Burke, Minister of Advanced Education and Skills, will address skilled trades students at the launch of Industry Day tomorrow (Tuesday, October 16) at 8:00 a.m. Sponsored by College of the North Atlantic and the Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association, Industry Day connects students with professionals in the construction industry through job-shadowing.

The event is taking place in rooms 109 and 110 at College of the North Atlantic’s Engineering Technology Centre, Ridge Road campus, St. John’s, This is the third annual Industry Day event, and will also feature students joining via webcast at College of the North Atlantic’s Corner Brook Campus.
