Media Advisory: St. Brendan’s Celebrates New Ferry

The Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister of Transportation and Works, will bring greetings and participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at a community event at St. Brendan’s to celebrate the arrival of the new provincial ferry, the MV Grace Sparkes. Minister Hedderson will be joined by Sandy Collins, MHA for Terra Nova, and Veronica Broomfield, Mayor of St. Brendan’s.

The event begins at approximately 3:30 p.m. today (Friday, May 13.) at the ferry terminal at St. Brendan’s. Minister Hedderson will also attend a town celebration later in the evening. The event, featuring local entertainment, will be held at 8 p.m. in the St. Brendan’s community hall.
