Public Advisory: Disruptions to MV Nonia and MV Hamilton Sound Services

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that the MV Nonia, currently serving Bell Island, and the MV Hamilton Sound, currently serving St. Brendan's, will come out of service on Monday, April 18, for annual Transport Canada inspections.

The MV Nonia will make its first two scheduled runs, and the MV Hamilton Sound will make its first scheduled run, on Monday morning before coming out of service for their annual inspections. Pending Transport Canada approval, the vessels are expected to resume service later in the day on Monday or on Tuesday morning.

While the MV Nonia is out of service, the MV Flanders will operate on the Bell Island run on the one vessel schedule.
