2012 Hall of Fame Cup Hoop Rankings

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association (NLBA) has released the first set of rankings for the Hall of Fame Cup (Elite Eight) Championship to be held on February 24-26, 2012, at the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre in St. John’s.

The selection committee consisting of Chair-Roger Head, Bill Murphy, Bill Brophy, Randy Ball, Joe Lake, Peter Abbott and Kevin Fitzpatrick, have gathered scores of invitational tournaments, exhibition games and league play for the past two months.

Results from tournaments and games held prior to December 12, have been included for the first set of rankings. Below are the teams based on the results currently submitted to the NLBA office from across the province.

The selection committee is urging all tournament hosts to e-mail/fax the results to the provincial office immediately upon conclusion of the event. The second set of rankings is scheduled to be circulated in mid-January.
