NLBA Girls High School Basketball

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will host a 16 team high school girl’s basketball tournament this weekend, December 9-11, at the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre in St. John’s. Teams set to participate include: Gonzaga Sr. Girls, St. Kevin’s Sr. Girls, Mobile, Fatima, Holy Heart, Baltimore, Gonzaga Jr. Girls, St. Kevin’s 9’s, Mount Pearl Sr., Laval, Booth Memorial, St. Lawrence, Dunne Academy, Stella Maris, O’Donel High and Corner Brook High. Play is set to commence at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, December 9) and will conclude with the championship games in Tier 1 and Tier 2 on Sunday morning, December 11.
