$15,000 Invested Towards Publication of Arts and Culture Magazine
Riddle Fence Inc. has received $15,000 through the Provincial Government’s Cultural Economic Development Program to assist with production costs of Riddle Fence, a Newfoundland and Labrador-based arts and culture magazine
“This local publication includes high calibre work in such genres as fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and artwork,” said the Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation. “The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is proud to support such renowned publications that contribute to the province’s art sector as well as the literary community.”
Riddle Fence is published three times a year by Riddle Fence Inc., a registered Canadian charity.
“Our publication has enjoyed a healthy reputation and readership in its first three years, but we’re still a start-up,” said Shoshanna Wingate, Executive Director of Riddle Fence. “The support we receive from the Cultural Economic Development Program is critical to our success and stability. Without grants, we wouldn’t be able to continue to publish.”
