Provincial Basketball Teams at Nationals

The Provincial Juvenile (U17) Girls team defeated the New Brunswick team 78 – 74 at the National Championships in Winnipeg, MB. Hannah Jardine chipped in with 33 points for the NL team with Sarah Hickman getting nine points. The team faces British Columbia later today.

The U15 Girls Team is set to play the Saskatchewan team later today at 1:30 MB time.

The U15 Boys program was defeated 88 – 83 by the Saskatchewan team at the National championships in Toronto, ON. Christian Greenland was top scorer for NL with 26 points, while Brett Warren followed with 21 points. Next up for the Midget Boys’ team is Alberta on Tuesday.

The U17 Boys team has the day off but will face Ontario on Tuesday.
