Basketball AGM this Weekend

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association (NLBA) will host their annual general meeting this Saturday, June 18, at the Swilers Club in St. John’s. The association will also hold their Hall of Fame induction ceremony along with the NLBA Awards for 2011 at the Holiday Inn on Saturday night.

A few of the topics on the agenda for the AGM include: Hosting 2013 National Championships, Roles of the Regional Directors, Minor and Senior Provincial Championships and the Steve Nash Youth Basketball Program. The current president of the association, Dr. Bas Kavanagh will be seeking re-election.
