NLBA Announces Hannah Jardine Invited to National Basketball Camp

Hannah Jardine of St. John’s has been invited to attend the “National Ladies Caddette Camp” this week, April 21-25, in Toronto. Jardine is a member of the O’Donel High School team and competed with the Midget Provincial Program this past summer. Her high school team recently won the 4A’s and Hannah was named tournament’s most valuable player (MVP).

Hannah attended the same camp last year as an underage athlete but was sidelined due to an injury and was unable to compete in the final days of the tryout. She has worked extremely hard this past year to get herself into top physical form to ensure this does not happen again. If selected she will attend the FIBA Americas championship in Mexico, June 13-18.

Dr. Kavanagh, president of the NLBA, stated the NLBA is very excited to have a representative invited to the national camp and we will support Hannah financially as she attends this camp and follows her dream of playing with the National Program.
