The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:

17 and Under Female and 16 and Under Male Provincial Volleyball Championships

The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association will have 26 teams in competition this weekend for the 17 and under female and 16 and under male provincial championships. 

The 17U female being held in Bay Roberts will have 18 teams while the 16U male in Grand Falls-Windsor will house eight teams. The tournaments will begin on Friday afternoon with the championship games on Saturday.
