Regional Tryout Session Being Held
for 2013 Canada Games Girls Basketball

Doug Partridge, head coach for the 2013 Canada Games Girls Basketball Program, will hold two open tryout sessions in the St. John’s region to identify potential athletes for the 2013 Canada Games Program.

The tryout sessions will run from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 20 and Sunday, February 27.

Selected athletes will train for six to eight weeks to prepare for the upcoming provincial tryouts. The sessions will take place at the NL Sports Centre and are open to all athletes in the St. John’s Metro region born in 1996, 1997 or 1998.

The head coach reserves the right to make cuts at anytime during the training sessions. Athletes will register on site, and are asked to bring their MCP numbers along with a basketball to the first tryout session.
