Media Advisory: Minister to Kick-off Oil and Gas Week 2011

The Honourable Shawn Skinner, Minister of Natural Resources, will join Sean Power, Chair, Oil and Gas Week committee, to officially kick-off Oil and Gas Week 2011. The launch will be held on Monday, February 28, at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial University’s S.J. Carew Building in the Engineering Lecture Theatre, Room EN-2006.

The week of February 28 to March 4 is Oil and Gas Week in Newfoundland and Labrador. A number of events are planned to raise awareness of the oil and gas industry in the province and its importance to the provincial economy. Additional information can be found at www.nloilandgasweek.ca.
