Media Advisory: Minister to Participate in Announcement of a Wastewater Project in Happy Valley-Goose Bay

The Honourable Nick McGrath, Minister Responsible for Labrador Affairs, on behalf of the Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs, will be joined by the Honourable Peter Penashue, federal Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs and President of the Queen’s Privy Council, and Leo Abbass, Mayor of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, to announce a wastewater treatment facility for Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Monday, November 21.

The event will include a sod-turning ceremony which will take place at 9:45 a.m. at the facility site on Mud Lake Road, followed by an announcement at the Happy Valley-Goose Bay Town Hall, 212 Hamilton River Road.
