Media Advisory: Minister to Present New Fire Truck to Town of Wabana

The Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister Responsible for Fire and Emergency Services, will present a new fire truck to the Town of Wabana tomorrow (Friday, May 27). Minister O’Brien will be joined by Conception Bay East- Bell Island MHA David Brazil, Wabana Mayor Gary Gosine, and members of the Wabana Volunteer Fire Department to officially unveil the new pumper truck. The event will begin at 12:30 p.m. at St. Michael’s Hall, Bell Island.

Following the event, Minister O’Brien will participate in a motorcade through the community, with visits to St. Augustine’s Elementary and St. Michael’s High School.
