Media Advisory: Minister to Present New Aerial Ladder Truck

On behalf of the Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister Responsible for Fire and Emergency Services, the Honourable Jerome Kennedy, Minister of Health and Community Services and MHA for Carbonear - Harbour Grace, will present a new aerial ladder truck to the Town of Carbonear. The vehicle has been acquired through an 80/20 cost-shared agreement between the Provincial Government and the municipality.

The ladder truck will arrive at the Carbonear General Hospital at noon tomorrow (Saturday, January 15), before travel through the community with members of the Carbonear Fire Department. The official presentation will get underway at 1:00 p.m. at the Conception Bay Regional Community Center on Beach Road.
