Media Advisory: Minister to Participate in Regional Youth Summit

The Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development, will participate in the Atlantic Youth Entrepreneurship Summit on Sunday, May 15. Minister Sullivan will join officials from other Atlantic Provinces for a panel discussion at 2:00 p.m. at Keating Centre, located on the campus of St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

The Atlantic Youth Entrepreneurship Summit will be held at St. Francis Xavier University from May 13 to 15. This inaugural youth summit will bring together 200 inspiring youth entrepreneurs, innovators, change makers and emerging leaders aged 16-29, from throughout the Atlantic Provinces. Youth delegates will exchange ideas and strategies on how to create a culture of innovative entrepreneurship that will lead to long-term economic development in their respective provinces. The summit also provides an opportunity for youth to build provincial networks of support and develop partnerships among peers and with established leaders.
