Media Advisory: Minister to Speak at Craft Industry’s Awards of Excellence

The Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development, will speak at the Craft Alliance’s Atlantic Canada Craft Awards of Excellence, tomorrow (Saturday, February 5) at 6:30 p.m. at the Prince George Hotel in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The annual awards ceremony is a component of the 34th Atlantic Craft Trade Show where craft producers from Atlantic Canada market and sell their products to buyers from across Canada.

Newfoundland and Labrador craft producers participating in the annual event are A Stone’s Throw Class (Gillams); ArtSea Jewellery (Conception Bay South/Fogo); Island Sweet Fibre Arts (Corner Brook); Molly Made (Woody Point); Silver and Silk (Amherst Cove); Spindrift (Outer Cove); Twisted Metal Creations (Amherst Cove); College of the North Atlantic – Textile Studies (St. John’s); Dark Tickle (Griquet); Delia Pewter (St. Phillip’s); Ewe Design (Trinity); Jason Holley (Amherst Cove); Labrador Traditions (Happy Valley-Goose Bay); Quidi Vidi Pewter (St. John’s); The Grumpy Goat Gallery (Upper Island Cove); and, Woof Design (St. John’s).
