Media Advisory: Minister to Host Event in Recognition of
United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities

The Honourable Joan Burke, Minister Responsible for the Status of Persons with Disabilities, will join community leaders today (Tuesday, November 29) for a ceremony to recognize December 3 as the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The event will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the main lobby of the East Block, Confederation Building, St. John’s.
