Media Advisory: Minister to Participate at Telus Cup – Try the Trades Promotion

The Honourable Darin King, Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment, will participate at Try the Trades day at the Telus Cup hockey tournament at Mile One Centre, 50 New Gower Street, St. John’s on Friday, April 22 at 4:30 p.m.

Try the Trades is a three-year, $2.5 million program, which provides individuals between the ages of 18 and 39 with hands-on, real-world exposure to the residential construction skilled trades. The program is delivered by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association - Eastern Newfoundland.
