Media Advisory: Minister Recognized for Advancing Mental Health and
Addictions Supports in Newfoundland and Labrador
The Honourable Jerome Kennedy, Minister of Health and Community Services, is being recognized by the Canadian Psychiatric Association for his contributions to enhancing the field of mental health and addictions in the province.
Minister Kennedy is the recipient of the Canadian Psychiatric Association President’s Commendation Award. This award is periodically given to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the mental health field.
The award will be presented during the association’s annual conference tomorrow (Saturday, October 15) at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Vancouver, British Columbia at 6:00 p.m.
