Media Advisory: Minister to attend MADD Project Red Ribbon Launch

The Honourable Paul Davis, Minister of Service NL, will participate in the launch of Project Red Ribbon with the Avalon Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).

The event will take place tomorrow (Wednesday, November 9) in the lobby of the East Block, Confederation Building, at 1:00 p.m.

The Project Red Ribbon Campaign was created in 1986 to heighten public attention surrounding drinking and driving during the holiday season. This program was designed to encourage the public to become actively involved in the fight against drunk driving by tying a red ribbon to a visible place on their vehicle such as the antenna or side mirror.
