Public Advisory: Early Studded Tire Use Permitted

The Department of Government Services advises the public that studded tires can be put on vehicles effective today (Thursday October 27).

In previous years, the usual start date for studded tire usage has been November 1. However, the earlier date this year is due to adverse weather conditions in some parts of the province and the potential for bad weather between now and November 1.
