Public Advisory: Public Reminded of Drivers Licence and Vehicle Registration Extensions

The Department of Government Services would like to thank the general public for their patience during the recent postal service disruption.

The department reminds the public that a 30-day extension on payment and submission of all driver licences and vehicle renewals has been implemented. This grace period is now in effect for the next 30 days to allow residents the time required to receive their mail and submit their documentation and payments where required. The grace period will expire on July 29.

Vehicle registrations can also be renewed online at www.eservices.gov.nl.ca/ as well as at local banks or credit unions. For more information please contact Motor Registration Division toll-free at 1-877-636-6867.
