Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Meeting of Finance Ministers

The Honourable Tom Marshall, Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board, will attend a meeting of Federal, Provincial and Territorial Finance Ministers in Victoria, British Columbia, on Monday, December 19.

Mark Carney, Governor of the Bank of Canada, will open the meeting by providing his perspective on recent global and Canadian economic financial developments. This will be followed by discussions on topics including medium-term priorities for upcoming budgets and the retirement income system.
