Public Advisory: Labrador Pre-Budget Consultations Rescheduled for March 1

The Department of Finance advises the public that the pre-budget consultations in Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Labrador City that were originally postponed have been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 1.

The consultation in Labrador City will take place 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Carol Inn.

The consultation in Happy Valley-Goose Bay will take place 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Labrador Friendship Centre.

Individuals already registered for the original dates have been contacted by the Department of Finance to reschedule.

Others wishing to participate in the meetings are requested to register 48 hours in advance by phoning 709-729-2944 or e-mailing budget@gov.nl.ca.

For those unable to attend, written submissions can be made via mail to: Minister of Finance, c/o Pre-Budget 2011, Department of Finance, P.O. Box 8700, St. John’s, NL, A1B 4J6. Submissions may also be e-mailed to budgetsubmissions@gov.nl.ca or faxed to 709-729-2070.
