Public Advisory: Pre-Budget Consultations in
Marystown, Hawke’s Bay, and Clarenville Rescheduled

The Department of Finance wishes to advise the public of the following changes to the schedule for pre-budget consultations to be held in Marystown, Hawke’s Bay, and Clarenville.

The consultation originally scheduled for Marystown on Monday, February 28, has been rescheduled. It will now take place on Friday, February 18, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Marystown Lions Club.

The consultation originally scheduled for Hawke’s Bay on Friday, February 18, has been rescheduled. The Hawke’s Bay meeting will now take place on Monday, March 7, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Maynard’s Torrent River Inn.

The consultation being held in Clarenville on Monday, February 28, will now take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Jude Hotel. It was originally scheduled for that evening.

Those who would like to participate in one of these sessions are requested to register at least 48 hours in advance by phoning 709-729-2944 or e-mailing budget@gov.nl.ca.

Individuals who had registered for the originally scheduled sessions will be contacted by the Department of Finance.

For those unable to attend, written submissions can be made via mail to: Minister of Finance, c/o Pre-Budget 2011, Department of Finance, P.O. Box 8700, St. John’s, NL, A1B 4J6. Submissions may also be e-mailed to budgetsubmissions@gov.nl.ca  or faxed to 709-729-2070.
