Media Advisory: Premier to Speak at 2011 Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will speak at the Newfoundland and Labrador Organization of Women Entrepreneurs’ (NLOWE) annual Entrepreneur of the Year Awards today (Thursday, October 27). Premier Dunderdale will be joined in attendance by the Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development and Minister Responsible for the Status of Women.

The event begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Newfoundland Hotel in St. John’s. NLOWE works with women starting or growing businesses in Newfoundland and Labrador. Since 1997, it has assisted more than 6,000 clients start more than 800 new businesses, and created over 1,700 new employment positions throughout the province.
