Media Advisory: Premier to Attend Old Perlican 40th Anniversary Celebrations

The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be the keynote speaker Saturday, August 13, at a dinner to celebrate Come Home Year and the 40th anniversary of the incorporation of the Town of Old Perlican. The event will take place at John Hoskins Building in Old Perlican at 7:00 p.m. The Premier will be joined by the Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of Child, Youth and Family Services and MHA for Trinity-Bay de Verde.

The Premier will also attend events in the area throughout the day, including a visit to Lower Island Cove’s Festival at the AYLA Building at 12:00 noon; the Cavendish Beach Festival in Cavendish at 2:30 p.m.; and New Perlican Regatta Days at 4:00 p.m.
