Media Advisory: Premier to Attend Events and
Make Announcement on West Coast

The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will attend events in Corner Brook tomorrow (Friday, August 5) and will also make an announcement in Pasadena.

At 10:00 a.m. Premier Dunderdale will be joined by Senator Ethel Cochrane; the Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs; the Honourable Thomas W. Marshall, Minister of Finance and MHA for Humber East; Vaughn Granter, MHA for Humber West; Terry Loder, MHA for Bay of Islands; and Neville Greeley, Mayor of Corner Brook for the official re-opening of Margaret Bowater Park.

At 12:45 p.m. the Premier will be joined by Ministers O’Brien and Marshall, area MHAs and the mayor for the official opening of the new Corner Brook City Hall.

At 2:30 p.m. Premier Dunderdale will make an announcement regarding a project for the community of Pasadena. The Premier will be joined by Ministers O’Brien and Marshall; Darryl Kelly, MHA for Humber Valley; and Gary Bishop, Mayor of Pasadena. The announcement will take place outside the Pasadena Recreation Centre, 10th Avenue.
