Media Advisory: Premier to Open New Aquaculture Wharves at Hermitage-Sandyville and Pool’s Cove
The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale will open new aquaculture wharves tomorrow (Friday, July 15) in Hermitage-Sandyville and Pool’s Cove. Joining the Premier will be the Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture; Tracey Perry, MHA for Fortune Bay - Cape La Hune; Jennifer Woodland, President of the Newfoundland Aquaculture Industry Association; Douglas Rose, Mayor of Hermitage-Sandyville; and Melvin Perham, Mayor of Pool’s Cove.
The opening of the Hermitage-Sandyville wharf will take place at 9:45 a.m. at the new aquaculture inflow wharf. The opening of the Pool’s Cove wharf will take place at 11:45 a.m. at the new aquaculture inflow wharf.
