Statement from the Honourable John Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada

The Governor General of Canada, the 10 Lieutenant Governors of the provinces of Canada, the three Territorial Commissioners and their respective Private Secretaries met in St. John’s June 28 and 29. They concluded these meetings this afternoon. This meeting takes place annually in various capital cities of Canada. The next meeting will take place one year hence at Rideau Hall in Ottawa.
