Media Advisory: Council of Atlantic Premiers to meet
in Sussex, N.B., May 15-16

Premier David Alward will host the 19th session of the Council of Atlantic Premiers in Sussex, New Brunswick, May 15-16. Premiers Kathy Dunderdale, Darrell Dexter, and Robert Ghiz will attend. During the meeting, premiers will discuss opportunities for Atlantic regional cooperation and share perspectives on national issues of importance to the four provinces.

Location/Time
Premiers will meet on Sunday afternoon and Monday morning at the Amsterdam Inn and Suites (143 Main Street, Sussex). There will be several opportunities for media to interact with the premiers.

Information for Media
Media will be provided with a photo opportunity with premiers at the site of the Potash Corporation Piccadilly mine expansion in Penobsquis, N.B., at 10:45 a.m. on Monday, May 16.

A media conference will be held outside the Amsterdam Inn, beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May 16. Simultaneous interpretation services will be provided during the media conference.

Media releases issued from the meeting will be distributed by each province’s communications office following the meeting and will be accessible at www.cap-cpma.ca. Please note that:

1. All media representatives, including journalists, photographers, camera operators, and technicians, are requested to register by submitting their name, affiliation, and contact information by May 12 to Glenn Davis, Information Officer, Council of Atlantic Premiers.
2. All registered media will be notified directly of any changes to the meeting schedule.
