Media Advisory: Premier to Participate in Events

The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will make a funding announcement in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Friday, February 25, and will attend a school assembly in North West River.

At 11:00 a.m. at the Labrador Health Centre, she will make a funding announcement for a new mental health initiative and health care equipment for Northern Labrador. She will be joined by the Honourable Jerome Kennedy, Minister of Health and Community Services; the Honourable Patty Pottle, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs; Danny Pottle, Acting Minister of Health and Social Development, Nunatsiavut Government; and, Boyd Rowe, CEO, Labrador-Grenfell Health.

At 2:15 p.m., Premier Dunderdale will attend an assembly at Lake Melville School as part of the Stand Up 2 Bullying campaign, sponsored by Violence Prevention Labrador and Nalcor, in partnership with the RCMP.
