Proponent: J. F. Fur Farms                                      (Reg. 1612)

The proponent, J. F. Fur Farms, is applying for a lease of 16 hectares of agricultural land from the Nunatsiavut Government to establish a mink and fox farm near Postville, Labrador. The farm is being developed to produce mink varieties for sale throughout North American auction houses. At start-up in summer 2012, the operation will have 1,000 breeding female mink and 30 breeding female foxes.
