Environmental Assessment Bulletin

The Honourable Ross Wiseman, Minister of Environment and Conservation, has announced the following events relative to Part 10 Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.

COMPONENT STUDY RECEIVED:

Labrador - Island Transmission Link
Proponent: Nalcor Energy (Reg. 1407)

The proponent has submitted the Viewscapes Component Study as part of the ongoing environmental assessment for the project. Public comments on this component study must be received no later than October 11, 2011. The minister’s deadline for the Viewscapes Component Study is October 26, 2011. The component studies are available on the Department of Environment and Conservation website at: www.gov.nl.ca/env/env_assessment/projects/Y2010/1407/index.html
