The Honourable Ross Wiseman, Minister of Environment and Conservation,
has announced the following event relative to Part 10 Environmental
Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.
COMPONENT STUDIES RECEIVED:
Labrador – Island Transmission Link
Proponent: Nalcor Energy (Reg. 1407)
The proponent has submitted the following five component studies as part of the ongoing environmental assessment for the project:
Public comments on the five component studies must be received no later than August 9, 2011. The minister’s deadline for the component studies is August 25, 2011. The component studies are available on the Department of Environment and Conservation website at: www.gov.nl.ca/env/env_assessment/projects/Y2010/1407/index.html
