Today is Election Day!

Elections Newfoundland and Labrador would like to notify the residents of Newfoundland and Labrador that today is polling day for the 2011 Provincial General Election. The polls are open from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. (7:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. in parts of Labrador). To find out where to vote, electors should:

• Refer to their voter information letters, circulated in the mail by Elections Newfoundland and Labrador;
• Call their district returning offices; or,
• Call Elections Newfoundland and Labrador toll-free at 1-877-729-7987.

There are 1,717 polls in 48 electoral districts. The advance poll results and the Special Ballot results will be included in the election results released tonight.
