Polling Day for the 2011 Provincial General Election
Elections Newfoundland and Labrador would like to notify residents of Newfoundland and Labrador that the 2011 Provincial General Election will take place on Tuesday, October 11. The polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. (7:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. in parts of Labrador).
To find out where to vote, electors should:
- Refer to their voter information letters circulated in the mail by Elections Newfoundland and Labrador;
- Call their district Returning Offices; or,
- Call Elections Newfoundland and Labrador toll-free at 1-877-729-7987.
Leading up to polling day, Elections Newfoundland and Labrador’s office hours are as follows:
Saturday, October 8, 2011 – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, October 9, 2011 – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Monday, October 10, 2011 – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Tuesday, October 11, 2011 – 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
