Voter Information Letters Being Distributed
for the 2011 Provincial General Election

Electors province-wide are asked to watch the mail for voter information letters being circulated by Elections Newfoundland and Labrador, beginning this week.

These letters will be sent to every elector who is currently on the voters list. The letters outline:

It is important to note that these voter information letters cannot be used as identification at the polling stations. They are for informational purposes only.

If an elector is not currently on the voters list, there is still time to register. The deadline for additions to the voters list is 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Electors can still vote at the polling stations even if they are not on the voters list, but will have to produce appropriate identification and swear an oath at that time.
