Official Candidates for the Humber West By-Election

The nomination of candidates for the Humber West by-election closed today at 2:00 p.m. The nominated candidates are: Vaughn Granter (Progressive Conservative Party); Rosie Myers (New Democratic Party); and, Mark Watton (Liberal Party).

Advance voting will take place on Thursday, February 10 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. By-election day has been set for Tuesday, February 15 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Special Ballot voting is also available to those electors who feel they may have difficulty voting in person on advance voting day or regular voting day. The deadline to apply for a Special Ballot is 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 10. Completed Special Ballots must be received at either the district Returning Office or at Elections Newfoundland and Labrador head office by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 11.
