Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Flag Raising Ceremony

The Honourable Joan Burke, Minister of Education, will join the Vanier Elementary school community in a flag raising ceremony today (Friday, May 20) in recognition of the school’s acceptance as a member of Peaceful Schools International. Peaceful Schools International provides support to schools that have declared a commitment to creating and maintaining a culture of peace.

The event begins at 1:00 p.m., at 85 Ennis Avenue in St. John’s.
