Public Advisory: MV Astron and MV Northern Ranger Services
Delayed
Due to heavy ice conditions along Labrador's North
Coast, the MV Astron will not be returning to service on June 14
as previously scheduled. The service will resume once ice conditions
improve.
The start of the MV Northern Ranger service,
which was also scheduled to resume on June 14, will be postponed due to
delays associated with the completion of refit work and ice conditions.
It is anticipated that the vessel will depart Lewisporte for
Happy
Valley-Goose Bay on or about June 18 and begin service out of Happy
Valley-Goose Bay on June 21 pending ice conditions.
Further updates will be provided as details become
available.
